It's all good so far

Waiting on the flooring installer to get here. This construction was planned well before the job change and has been paid for. The installation will be a very noisy affair because the terriers will be quite vocal about defending the house for the duration.

I will get to escape to a Scout Fair meeting at lunch. I will also have the chance to check inventory at the OA office so we can see where we are with our stores. Like any business we are in the budget preparation process. Now we have two CPA’s in leadership so the budgets will be more heavily scrutinized.

Getting to the endpoint on the 2012 family business books. Of course the end of year data is only much more complex and convoluted. Data from one company uses different account numbers than the other. And the detailed data is on the computer being upgraded. So files found and transferred. Results to be loaded in old software and reports run. It isn’t ever easy, but…
