It’s all good so far. 12-23-13

Checking in at Dunbar Oil & Gas – Stafford Office. I am surprised at how long it takes to get the morning underway. The holiday sleep in lasted until 6;45 this morning. Since then we have:

1. Contacted the pest control folks and set an appointment to deal with the unwanted guests that seem to like the free dog food next door but prefer our attic for their overnight accommodations.

2. Confirmed flight, hotel, and other travel arrangements for college kids so they can fly to El Paso, meet family, pick up car, learn to drive a standard, and start the journey home.

3. Noticed that I have multiple backups on backup drive and was running out of room. Needed to delete old back up copies. Crossing my fingers and hoping that between the data drive(s) that are in a raid array, the external drive, and dropbox that I have everything covered.

4. Finally have the accounting open and am looking at the run stub that shows 8 months of well data that has been adjusted. I don’t know what happened in 2013 that has caused the accounting departments for several purchasers to go nuts and try to adjust years of severance taxes or pricing on a single run stub. Some of these are now multiple pages in length.

Oh well some one has to get the data into the family accounting software.

At least the vacuum cleaner /dog serenade has quit and I can now start catching up on the book work and my podcast listening.
