It’s all good so far. 12-31-13
Last day of 2013 and getting some thoughts together before I go back to work on the family book keeping.
I spent some quality time the last two days on data entry, basically dealing with one particular payee – rebuilding a template to cover two months of data. Had the cache drop twice – losing the work most of the way into the edit. We will see if I draw a response from their tech support after I tweeted the problem and my solution that involves programmers losing body parts.
Do I recycle my resolutions from last year? More writing, more exercise, better attention to diet.in spite of the wine hobby.
Well I have not arrived at the point that I want to be at, so we will continue with these resolutions. I will also reduce the time in front of the tube and do a little more reading.
Sandra and I will also do more planning on the next stage of life. We like the M.F.K. Fisher’s concept of The Last House. We have been in the current location for 20 years. The next move will be the last move. We have an idea where, and are deciding what the last house will look like. I don’t know if we will find it or if we will have to build it. I do know that it will be an interesting journey.
